As the name suggests, Crimson Crisp apples are satisfyingly crisp and full of sweet-tart juice. As a fresh eating apple they’re one of our favorites. The juice is rich in flavor with distinct tropical notes of mango and melon, with the resulting cider reminiscent of a dry Riesling, or Sauvignon Blanc.
Our award winning 2016 Crimson Crisp is a single orchard, single varietal cider and has been bottle conditioned for natural sparkle.
Harvest 2017 was fruitful. We’ve doubled production, and are planning a still version of this cider (as well as a sparkling) for release in the summer of 2018.
